day five
I've already broken my previous plan of only posting one photo a day. It turns out the frog hunting adventure yesterday was too exciting for just one photo. Parker was the only one to go into the creek, first taking off his shoes and then going in, shoes and all. The other boys proclaimed it "gross" and "icky". Parker first caught a crawfish which he carried bare handed to the other kids. Ten minutes later, he caught a frog and was a star for 15 minutes. Every boy at the park wanted to see his frog. It is also a dream come true for him after not having any success catching a frog last year. This would explain why he couldn't settle down last night to go to sleep (or stay asleep). Maybe frog hunting is a once a month sort of thing.
